Punnichy R-C-M-P are asking for the public’s help with locating traditional Ingigenous regalia that was taken from a home on the Kawacatoose First Nation, located about 130 kilometres north of Regina and 10 kilometres east of Highway 6.
Officers met with the occupants of House 903 on June 6, when the items were reported stolen, but have not been able to locate the three items.
They stolen items include a white eagle fan, a blue and white beaded beret with feathers and a blue and white breastplate with feathers (pictured). The theft is believed to occurred between May of this year and June 4. Anyone with information about the stolen Indigenous regalia is asked to contact Punnichy R-C-M-P or Crime Stoppers.
