Environment Canada says the storm cells that moved through Saskatchewan yesterday were definitely capable of producing tornadoes.
The national forecaster has confirmed that a tornado near Morse, Saskatchewan touched down at 5:38 p.m. Thursday evening.

As well there were multiple reports of hail including in Yorkton where it was golf ball sized and they officially recorded 19.3 mm of rain with flooding in the streets.
Spiritwood had 55 mm, Saskatoon 7.6 , Loon Lake 21.7 and Birch Hills 41.4 millimetres of rain.
There were reports of trees down in Churchbridge as well.
Other locations with hail include Herbert, Attwater, Earl Grey while Regina Beach had loonie to golf ball sized hail and Last Mountain Lake reported toonie sized hail.
