RCMP were able to locate a home that had been hit multiple times. Police spoke to the residents in the home and no one was injured, although police say the occupants were uncooperative with investigators.
Neighbours provided the RCMP with a description of a vehicle, although the vehicle was not located.
Then around 2 in the afternoon, officers came across a vehicle matching the description. Police tried to pull it over when it then sped away.
The suspect vehicle then blew a stop sign, hitting another vehicle which flipped it onto its roof.
A 23 year-old man from St. Albert, Alberta and a 17 year-old female from the Poundmaker First Nation were arrested. Both sustained non-life threatening injuries in the crash and the driver of the other vehicle was not injured.
Police located a loaded long barrel firearm and multiple cans of bear spray in the suspect vehicle.
The investigation is continuing and charges are pending.
