Provincial NDP Leader Ryan Meili addressed hundreds of party delegates in Prince Albert Saturday.
Meili pledged that an NDP government will address the under-resourcing of classrooms, including a cap on class sizes for early years along with sufficient individualized supports for students requiring extra attention.
The NDP leader said under a New Democrat government, there wouldn’t be a class from K-3 with more than 24 students.
While addressing delegates in Prince Albert, Meili committed to a Saskatchewan First local procurement policy.
Meili said the NDP will implement a plan that will ensure public dollars go into local companies who hire local workers for infrastructure projects.
