With Canada Day activities in Saskatoon taking place downtown tomorrow (Fri) there will be detours, lane restrictions and “NO PARKING” signs in place so you know how to navigate the event area.
Some of the road restrictions are began at 8 this morning (Thurs) and continue until 6 a.m. Saturday morning and that includes Spadina Crescent which is closed between 2nd and 3rd avenues and between 3rd Avenue and 20th Street including the Saskatoon Boat Launch. Event road restrictions that start at 9 a.m. tomorrow include the Traffic Bridge from 11th to 19th Streets, Broadway Bridge between 12th and 20th Streets. Nineteenth Street is closed between 3rd and 4th Avenues and Saskatchewan Crescent is closed from 13th Street to McPherson Avenue.
Saskatoon Transit will be affected by the detours. The festivities are at River Landing Amphitheatre and at Nasser Plaza as well as a free concert at Victoria Park.
