Conexus Credit Union has awarded $5,000 to Wanuskewin Heritage Park to support Indigenous cultural education for youth. The Credit Union is sponsoring Wanuskewin’s summer kids camps. This follows a $100,000 gift during during the Thundering Ahead Campaign to renew and expand the park.

Wanuskewin CEO Darlene Brander says, “With the support of Conexus, we can continue to offer word class educational experiences showcasing Northern Plains Indigenous Cultures.” Brander adds that Wanuskewin continues to work for its next big milestone – applying for and achieving UNESCO World Heritage Site designation.
