A funeral service will be held today (sunday) for a Saskatchewan paramedic killed a week ago Friday when an ambulance and a truck collided.

Leigh Schroeder and two children died in the crash on an icy highway near Beauval.

His obituary says Schroeder was a journeyman electrician before becoming a primary care paramedic and had been stationed in Meadow Lake.

The funeral service is to be held in Regina.
