The Moose Jaw Police Service is investigating an attempted murder after the fire department responded to a fire alarm at an apartment building and found a man who had been shot.
The incident occurred at a building two blocks east of the city’s Main Street.
A 34 year old man was arrested at the scene and a firearm was recovered.
A 44 year old man suffered serious but non-life-threatening injuries.
The suspect is in court tomorrow and police do not believe there are any other suspects involved, as well, there was no fire at the building and no damage incurred.
