The City of Saskatoon says starting Thursday there will be changes for Access Transit.
Reduced services are going into effect on Thursday and a news release from the city says it is “adjusting service to temporarily reduce service levels based on available resources”.
When questioned about what resources are not available, Tracey Davis, the Interim Director of Saskatoon Transit issued a statement.
“Staffing vacancies and staff that are either out sick or on vacation has left us short on resources at the moment; however, we are continuing to recruit and will continue to adjust as needed to provide the best Access Transit service that we possibly can.”
Access Transit is also reportedly continuing to return to pre-pandemic levels.
