If you have SaskAlert or have been listening to the radio, you will know there is a Dangerous Person Alert because of a shooting incident in Langham. The male suspect was last seen on foot and is believed to be armed. It’s unknown where the suspect is at this time and RCMP are responding. The area of the alert includes the Langham area , and a surround area including Saskatoon, North Battleford, Melfort, Rosetown, Outlook and Davidson, Prince Albert, further north to Prince Albert National Park.

If you are in the Langham area, you are asked to seek immediate shelter or shelter in place – close and lock your doors and windows and don’t pick up hitch hikers. Also, if you are on on social media and you see police in the area, don’t disclose their locations. If you have a tip, call 911.
