The Saskatchewan RCMP say the Dangerous Person Alert has been cancelled. Police believe there is no further risk to public safety.

Shortly after 1 p.m. the Saskatchewan RCMP provided further details saying they located a deceased man inside a home in Langham around 11:40 a.m. and it’s believed the deceased person is Justin Heimbecker, the suspect listed by the alerts that were issued Friday morning, however authorities can not confirm that it is indeed him at this time.

Before 8 this morning, the first Dangerous Person Alert was sent released on the radio, on television and through cell phones and the SaskAlert and RCMP website. Police had responded to a shooting in Langham and later confirmed someone had died. The alerts listed Justin Heimbecker as the suspect police were looking for and a picture of him was publicized.
