Saskatoon Blades forward Brandon Lisowsky has been drafted by Toronto Maple Leafs. Lisowsky’s 33 goals last season were the third most among WHL draft eligible players. The Blade was selected 218th overall. Elsewhere, the Vancouver Canucks drafted Elias Pettersson 80th overall in the 2022 NHL Draft. That’s right, the Canucks now have two players by the same name. This Petterson is a 6-2, 182-pound left-shot defenceman who spent the last season playing for hockey in Sweden. And the Pittsburgh Penguins have drafted forward Luke Devlin with the 182nd selection. Luke is the son of Sportsnet and TSN Toronto Raptors play-by-play man, Matt Devlin.
