Two Regina men, ages 30 and 49, are facing charges following an investigation into a weapons call early Thursday morning.
Regina Police say just before 4 o’clock that morning, patrol officers were flagged down near an alley in the 600 block of 17th Avenue. A man told police that someone had allegedly pointed a long-barrelled firearm at him from a vehicle. The victim was able to point out the vehicle involved to police and a traffic stop was initiated a short time later.
The two occupants inside the vehicle were arrested and officers located ammunition inside the vehicle. When police went back to the area where the offence happened, they found a discarded .22 calibre rifle that was believed to be involved in the incident.
Thirty-year-old Colby Delorme and 49-year-old Lawrence Smith made their first court appearance yesterday (fri).
