Lloydminster RCMP say there has been a noticeable decrease in property crime during their Project Border Compliance campaign.
RCMP say they have been targeting repeat offenders as well as crime hot spots including residences known for criminal activity.
Inspector Lee Brachmann says there is no end date for the campaign which started a few weeks ago.
The detachment commander adds they will continue to send more officers into the high crime areas and make adjustments if they see changing trends in property crimes.
