The Saskatoon Police Service says their investigation into a possible explosive device at the University of Saskatchewan concluded without incident and there is no word on whether any suspicious package was found.
Traffic restrictions that were in place along College Drive were lifted at around 10:00 p.m. and there is no continued risk to public safety.
Shortly before 4 p.m. Monday afternoon, police received information regarding a threat of a possible explosive device at the University of Saskatchewan.
Officers worked with the university to determine the credibility of the threat. A caller to the Saskatoon Media Group newsroom said an evacuation order was issued at St. Thomas More College on the USask campus just after 4 p.m. And following that evacuation order, officials also evacuated the Memorial Union Building, Health Sciences building, Murray Library and Place Riel.
