In the past week, Battlefords RCMP have responded to 533 calls for service and have begun 27 assault investigations. In one of them, officers responded to the 1900 block of 104th Street in North Battleford in the early morning hours on Tuesday, about a report of suspicious persons. Two males were located and one had significant injuries to his head and face, so an ambulance took him to the hospital. RCMP describe his injuries as serious, but not as severe as originally feared.

A third person was located later in the morning covered in a significant amount of blood, and was arrested on suspicion of his involvement, and then another youth was identified and arrested. The investigation continues. RCMP say two youths, 15 and 17, are facing charges of aggravated assault. The others who were involved have yet to be identified. Police have issued pictures, looking for the public’s help to identify the individuals below.
