Southey RCMP have released a composite sketch of a suspect connected to an investigation of the sexual assault of a preteen child in Govan on June 9th. Police say the child was walking in the community that evening when a male in a black truck approached her and she was assaulted.

He is described as between 28 and 30 years old, between 5’7″ and 5’10” tall, with a medium build, dark hair, brown eyes and dark, bushy eyebrows. He also has yellowed teeth.

Southey RCMP Sgt. Kim Steward says, “We’re asking the public to take a look at this drawing. Does he look like someone you know, or have you seen him somewhere? If you have, please report what you know.
