What Cody Fajardo wouldn’t say about his injured left knee, head coach Craig Dickenson did say following Tuesday’s first preparation practice for the Saskatchewan Roughriders ahead of Friday’s home game against B-C.
Dickenson told reporters that there is damage to the M-C-L in the starting pivot’s left knee. Fajardo, who has played the last several games with a brace to support the left hinge, says if it’s up to him, he would play Friday against the Lions. That decision hasn’t officially been made. Fajardo, Mason Fine and Jake Dolegala all took reps under centre today, a position manned by veteran Logan Ferland while Josiah St. John lined up in Ferland’s usual left guard spot. Logan Bandy, who had been playing in place of Dan Clark following his broken leg, was not on the field.
