A 24-year-old man from the Pelican Lake First Nation is dead following a pedestrian-vehicle collision on Highway 4, about four kilometres north of the Pelican Lake First Nation on Monday evening.
The victim was declared deceased at the scene and his family has been notified. According to Spiritwood R-C-M-P, the collision happened at about 9:35 p.m. on July 25. The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene and is co-operating with the ongoing investigation, which includes a Saskatchewan R-C-M-P collision reconstructionist. Highway 24 was closed during the initial investigation, but has since re-opened.
