While it may have been a cooler and rainy day in Saskatoon Saturday, that didn’t stop the heat from popping up in other areas across western Canada.
As B.C. continues to deal with extreme heat and wildfires in the southern interior, Kamloops set a new record high for July 30th. Kamloops was 39.0 degrees Celsius yesterday (sat) breaking their previous record from 1971 of 38.9.
The hottest place in Canada yesterday (sat) was Lytton, B.C. with a temperature of 40.7 degrees.
Saskatchewan’s hot spot Saturday was Coronach at 34.1 degrees Celsius.
