The RCMP say the child was found at approximately 6:00 p.m. Sunday and the female suspect was also taken into custody at that time. The child was located and safe.

The Regina Police Service was asking for public help in finding a two year old boy and a 36 year old mother who is now under investigation for abducting the toddler.
Shortly before 4:30 a.m., this morning, police were dispatched to a home in the 1100 block of 13th Avenue after receiving a report that a woman showed up and was believed to be trying to remove her biological son, who she does not have custody of. When police arrived, the mother, Kerry Keewatin was gone, as was her 2 year old son, Holdan Keewatin. Through investigation, it was learned that Kerry Keewatin showed up a short time later at the Regina General Hospital with Holdan, however left on foot.
Kerry Keewatin is described as 36 years old, Indigenous, 5’7″ tall, weighing 140 lbs., black, shoulder length hair in a ponytail, and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a white tank top, black shorts, blue medical mask and had bare feet. Two- year-old Holdan Keewatin was last seen wearing a black and white horizontal striped outfit.
