Searchers have found the body of a missing 74-year old woman who was last seen mushroom picking on August 4th in northeast Saskatchewan.

Lois Chartrand was located dead in a forested area on Sunday, about one kilometre from where where was last seen in the Smeaton region.

Chartrand was an experienced mushroom picker but became separated from the person she was with. Severe thunderstorms, wind and rain hampered the search in the first 24 hours.
