Health Canada has recalled a few models of MamaRoo Baby Swings and RockaRoo Baby Rockers because of a strangulation hazard. This is for these model numbers: 4moms MamaRoo Baby Swing (models 4M-005, 1026, and 1037) and RockaRoo Baby Rocker (model 4M-012)

Consumers should contact the company 4moms to have a free strap fastener sent to them. The danger is when the swing or rocker is not in use, its restraint straps can dangle below the seat, and a crawling infant can become entangled. Of of August 9th, there have been no reports of strangulation in Canada, and no reports of injuries.
