A 29-year-old man from Regina is facing numerous firearms-related charges following an incident in the Queen City Wednesday.

Around 3:45 in the afternoon, police were dispatched to the 700 block of Robinson Street after receiving information that a man was being chased by another male holding what appeared to be a sawed-off shotgun. Police saw a man matching the suspects description go into a nearby home.

Police entered the home and arrested the man without further incident.

The man was wanted on three separate firearms prohibitions.
