Saskatoon’s City Manager says recovering more money from the million dollar fraud scheme last August will depend on a court decision.
Jeff Jorgenson says there is no time line on the ruling from a Toronto judge following Tuesday’s hearing as the city argued for the release of money still legally locked down in the court system.
The City Manager says he is confident they will recover the remaining 300-thousand dollars frozen in several bank accounts as 700-thousand has been returned.
Jorgenson also figures a report on how a fraudster managed to get 1.04 million dollars deposited in their account will be completed before the end of the year.
