There has been a freezing rain warning issued for Saskatoon, Humboldt, Wynyard, Wadena, Martensville, Warman, Rosthern, Wakaw, Delisle, the Battlefords, Unity, Maidstone, St. Walburg, Lloydminster, Lanigan and Foam Lake.

Use extreme caution driving or walking. Environment Canada says freezing rain is expected to end later this morning. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become icy and slippery.

Freezing rain warnings are issued when rain falling in sub-zero temperatures creates ice build-up and icy surfaces.
