The butterflies have arrived at the new Prairie Butterfly House at the Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park & Zoo. Zoo manager Jeff Mitchell says visitors can see butterflies fluttering around the new exhibit and people can also check out the emerging area where caterpillars form a chrysalis or pupa to rest and transform into an adult butterfly. There is also signage installed to provide an opportunity for visitors to learn more about the many species of butterflies. The Zoo is open daily from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The Zoo would once again like to thank the Saskatoon Zoo Foundation and all of the partners, contributors and organizations that helped bring this exhibit to life.
