The Dangerous Person Alert issued just before 3 this afternoon (Wed) has been cancelled. Melfort RCMP say Myles Sanders was located and taken into custody near Rosthern around 3:30 this afternoon, so there is no longer a risk to the public. Myles Sanderson is a suspect in the stabbings on the James Smith Cree Nation and in Weldon on Sunday morning. Ten people died and 18 are injured from the stabbing attacks.

The body of his brother, Damien Sanderson was found on Monday in a yard outside one of the homes that was being investigated on the James Smith Cree Nation. Myles Sanderson is facing three counts of first degree murder along with one count of attempted murder and a break and enter charge.
