The leaves on the trees may be starting to turn but that doesn’t mean summer highway construction season is over.
Highways Minister Jeremy Cockrill reminds motorists to slow to 60 kilometres per hour in construction zones as major highway construction stretches into the fall.
Resurfacing work is underway on 12 kilometres of Highway 4 north of North Battleford and 17 kilometres on Highway 5 west of Humboldt as well as 10 kilometres of Highway 21 south of Kindersley.
Work has wrapped up on the passing lanes on Highways 7, 12 and portions of the Yellowhead. Crews continue to work on Highway 5 passing lanes east of Saskatoon, passing lanes near Yorkton and twinning west of Prince Albert on Highway 3.
