Duke Williams will miss a third consecutive game because of a foot injury when the Saskatchewan Roughriders visit Winnipeg in Saturday’s Banjo Bowl re-match.
That’s according to Green and White head coach Craig Dickenson. Williams’ absence means the Riders will use three Canadians and two imports at the receiver positions. In addition, Dickenson says a concussion will keep defensive lineman Anthony Lanier sidelined again this week while guard Logan Ferland is questionable with a back issue. The Roughriders will release their line-up and depth chart Friday morning. The Blue Bombers won the Labour Day Weekend Classic 20-18 back on Sunday in Regina.
