The Saskatchewan Roughriders and Winnipeg Blue Bombers will both wear decals on their helmets today (sat) to honour the victims of last Sunday’s tragedy on the James Smith Cree Nation and in Weldon.

A moment of silence will also be held prior to kick-off in Winnipeg.

The decals bear the letters “JSCS” for James Smith Cree Nation in red, the colour of healing in Cree culture.

Kick-off today (sat) is at 3 o’clock.
