The hours are being adjusted, but there will still be lots of activity at the Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park and Zoo.
Following a successful 50th anniversary summer season, the Zoo is now open from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. with free parking until May 1 of next year. The Forestry Farm Park gates are open daily from 7:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. An extensive renovation project at the Children’s Zoo and the Buckeye Cafe is about to take place.
The newly-created Prairie Butterfly House and Kinsmen Express II Train are now closed for the season while the Goeldi’s Monkeys exhibit will close down after September 18th. The Buckeye Cafe shuts down for the season on September 30th.
The Children’s Zoo will reopen in 2023, following renovations, and be known as the Small Mammal House and be home to some new animals to the Zoo. In addition, 2023 Zoon Season Passes purchased before October 1st will avoid being charged the P-S-T and be available at 2022 rates. Zoo Season Passes can be bought at the Saskatoon Forestry Farm Park or at any Leisure Centre.
