The Saskatchewan Internet Child Exploitation Unit has arrested and charged a 63 year old Prince Albert man with two counts of possession of child porn and one count of accessing it. The ICE Unit was investigating the possession of child porn through a popular online search engine, and executed a search warrant at a Prince Albert home identified as where the offences were occurring on September 14th. James Seright has been released from custody on numerous conditions.
The ICE Unit includes investigators from the Saskatchewan RCMP, Regina Police Service, Saskatoon Police Service, and the Prince Albert Police Service with the mandate to investigate crimes involving the abuse and/or exploitation of children on the internet.
