The Saskatchewan Roughriders should be able to do a better job of protecting Cody Fajardo when he tries to throw the football Friday night in Winnipeg, based on the Green and White’s roster and depth chart for the game that they released Thursday morning.
Dan Clark is back. The veteran centre returns for the first time since breaking a leg in mid-June. Terran Vaughn and Logan Ferland are back on the left side of the O-line at tackle and guard, respectively, while Kooper Richardson appears to have won the right tackle job. Running back may also be a sixth O-Lineman this week with Winnipeg product Kienan LaFrance listed as the starter. Lafrance is the only true running back dressing. Mario Alford listed as his backup while Frankie Hickson and Jamal Morrow are both on the six-game injured list. As for receiver Duke Williams, he’s been placed on the six-game I-L with his nagging ankle injury. The defence remains pretty much as it has from the past few weeks. The 12-2 Bombers will be looking to complete a three-game season sweep of the 6-8 Riders, who will be out to put a stop to a three-game losing streak.
