It’s next man up at running back for the Saskatchewan Roughriders…this time it’s Shaq Cooper!
He’s listed as the starting tailback for the Green and White, one of just two line-up changes from last week’s loss in Winnipeg for tomorrow night’s “Must Win” contest in Hamilton. The other change has Blace Brown coming on to play defensive halfback in place of Amari Henderson. Cooper will be the fourth different running back for the Riders this season, getting his chance in his fourth on-and-off stint with Saskatchewan in the last year. The 6-9 Roughriders can all but clinch the cross-over playoff berth at third place in the East Division by breaking a four-game losing skid tomorrow against the 4-10 Tiger-Cats.
