A man’s body was discovered on Wednesday in a trail area on Big River First Nation. Big River RCMP were contacted just after 6 p.m. The death is considered suspicious and the RCMP’s Major Crime Unit has now taken over the investigation.

Police say the victim’s age or hometown aren’t being released, because investigators are working to notify next-of-kin. Anyone with information should call Saskatchewan RCMP or their local police service. Any tips can also be submitted anonymously through Crime Stoppers.
