Saskatchewan RCMP Major Crimes Unit has charged one man in connection to the death of an inmate at the Regina Correctional Centre on Wednesday.

The RCMP says their investigation indicates two inmates were involved in a fight and 46 year old Sheldon Rosebluff was seriously injured and pronounced deceased on scene by EMS.

The second person believed involved is 31-year-old Adrian Cote who was not injured and is now facing a charge of one count second degree murder.

He was in court yesterday and will be back in court on October 25th.

The RCMP is continuing to investigate in collaboration with the Saskatchewan Coroners Service.
