A four-year-old child has died in Watrous and now the Saskatchewan RCMP’s Major Crime Unit is investigating the circumstances. Watrous RCMP responded on Thursday around 12:30 in the morning to a report of an injured child. The boy was found in medical distress and was later declared dead by EMS. His family has been notified and Victim Services is providing support.

Anyone with information on this child’s death is urged to call the RCMP. You can also submit a tip anonymously by contacting Crime Stoppers. The police aren’t releasing any information on the child’s name or any other identifying details.
