Carla Beck received 94 per cent approval from delegates attending the Saskatchewan NDP annual convention in Saskatoon on Saturday.

Carla Beck assumed the NDP leadership in June following the resignation of former leader Ryan Meili.

Beck is the first female leader of the Saskatchewan NDP.  Once the convention wraps up on Sunday, the next focus will the be fall session of the Legislature, which opens with the Throne Speech on Wednesday, October 26.
