Good news Monday – Saskatchewan Roughriders’ safety Mike Edem is resting at home after all of his diagnostic tests came back clear.
The Green and White issued an update on Edem’s condition after he collided violently with Calgary running back Dedrick Mills in the fourth quarter of Saturday’s 32-21 Stampeders victory. Edem was carted off the field and taken to hospital for precautionary reasons, but was released later that night. The 10-year veteran was making his 100th career C-F-L start. The Riders will conclude their season this Saturday in Calgary. Following is the news update from the Roughriders…..
UPDATE ON ROUGHRIDERS DEFENSIVE BACK MIKE EDEM
After his on-field collision in Saturday night’s game, Mike Edem was taken to the hospital for diagnostic testing. All of his tests came back clear. Mike was released from the hospital later that night and is resting at home.
