Saskatoon Police say a 16-year-old male youth turned himself in at police headquarters around 9 a.m. on Wednesday morning and he has been charged in connection to a firearm incident Monday at Mount Royal Collegiate.
The teen is charged with Pointing a Firearm, Possession of a Dangerous Weapon, Carrying a Concealed Weapon, Breach of Conditions and several other firearm related offenses.
Officers were called around 2:30 p.m. following a report that bear spray had been deployed and one suspect was in possession of a firearm before fleeing the scene.
A male victim suffered from the effects of the spray. Back on September 20, a 17-year-old male was arrested for possessing a firearm and uttering threats at the same location.
