If you take temperature and precipitation into account, this week will be our first real taste of winter like weather.
And from what Accuweather is forecasting, there will be plenty more to come.
Meteorologist Brett Anderson says this is called a Triple-dip of La Nina and La Nina means a very strong jet stream coming into either British Columbia or Pacific Northwest of the United States and usually means stormy conditions for B.C. and colder than normal winter for the prairies, and drier as well.
Anderson says the last time we experienced three La Nina winters in a row 1998 to 2000.
