“Gone With the Wind” – an iconic, classic of a movie. That was also what just about happened to almost $136,000 for a couple from White Fox.
While recently driving with the window down, Orville Miner moved the sun visor – forgetting that’s where he stores his lottery tickets. He stopped and tracked down the ducats that had blown and scattered into a nearby ditch, then immediately took them to be checked. One of the wind-blown tickets matched six of the seven winning numbers from the October 7 Lotto Max – plus the bonus number, worth $135,984.60! Miner and Wendy Olson say they plan on paying off a few things and enjoy life with Miner looking forward to an earlier retirement.
Sask Lotteries also reminds folks to check their tickets from the October 21 Lotto Max draw. A $1 million winning ticket purchased in Saskatchewan, but not in Saskatoon or Regina, plus a $500,000 winning ticket bought in Saskatoon remain unclaimed.
