The Saskatoon Police Service Traffic Unit has posted on social media about a driver getting his second ticket this year for driving while using a cell phone. The first ticket in June cost him $580 and the one issued today (Fri) will cost him $1400 plus his car will be impounded for a week. A third offence within a year of conviction of the first fine would be a $2,100 ticket and another seven day vehicle seizure.
