Meewasin’s CEO says the Kinsmen Riverfront and Trail enhancements are now complete, so the site is accessible to the public again.

The work was adjacent to Kinsmen Park and the river, spanning from Nutrien Wonderhub to the Shakespeare on the Saskatchewan site. Enhancements included developing 300 metres of new primary trail, 140 meters of secondary trail, and new stairs and ramps from the Wonderhub down to the Prairie Lily dock.

Lafond says more enhancement through downtown Saskatoon will continue for the next few years. She reminds everyone that there are a number of benches, picnic tables and other amenities in the area available for dedication.
