Tisdale RCMP say two pickup trucks collided around 10 a.m. Wednesday morning on Highway 35.

The accident happened approximately 8 kilometres south of the junction with Highway 335 in the RM of Connaught which is about 30 kilometres north of Tisdale.

The driver of one of the trucks, a 62-year-old man from Aylsham, Saskatchewan, was declared deceased at the scene.

The driver and passenger of the other pick up were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Highway #35 was closed for initial investigation but has since re-opened. The investigation continues with the assistance of a Saskatchewan RCMP collision reconstructionist.
