The Global Institute for Water Security on the USask campus has released the weekly COVID viral load in the wastewater numbers, for the week that ended on Friday. Saskatoon’s viral load is down almost 40 per cent from the previous week and all of it is variants and subvariants of Omicron. That’s the second successive decrease, and the concentration is considered medium.

North Battleford’s viral load is up almost 29 per cent, and it too, is all Omicron variants. The concentration is considered medium because it’s lower than its ten week average. Prince Albert’s data is not available yet.
