Wakaw RCMP say a 19 year old woman died at the scene of the two vehicle accident just north of Wakaw Monday morning.
The call came in at 9:13 a.m. The woman who died was in the southbound vehicle.
A 58 year old man driving an SUV going North was taken to hospital by EMS with what are described as serious injuries. A girl was a passenger in the SUV and wasn’t hurt.
The cause of the crash has yet to be determined. Alcohol is not believed to be a factor, road conditions were wet and visibility was clear at the time.
And a 46 year old man died in hospital after being transported from the accident scene on Monday morning by STARS.
Milestone RCMP, Yellowgrass Fire Department and Weyburn EMS responded to the crash on highway 39, 2 kilometres northwest of Yellowgrass, at 8:30 a.m.
A pick-up truck travelling northwest with the 46 year old man as the only occupant, collided head on with a southeast bound refrigerated truck. Those in the refrigerated truck were not hurt and the highway was closed for several hours.
The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
