Saskatoon Police have made several arrests involving sexual services. On Wednesday, four men were arrested as investigators conducted an operation designed to apprehend persons purchasing sexual services from high risk sex workers.
The men, range in age from 27 to 53. They are all charged with Communicating for the Purpose of Obtaining Consideration of Sexual Services. Police say that communicating to obtain, or obtaining sexual services for a consideration, in any place, public or private, is illegal. Those purchasing sexual services may be contributing to the exploitation of minors, trafficking in persons, and proliferation of organized crime in the community.
