A man charged with indignity to human remains in connection to the police investigation into the death of Megan Gallagher has been denied bail. John Wayne Sanderson’s bail hearing was November 29th and earlier this week, he heard the decision that bail would be denied in Saskatoon Provincial Court. He is back in court on December 12th. Sanderson is one of nine people accused in Megan Gallagher’s death.
Two others face the same charge – Jessica Faye Badger and Ernest Vernon Whitehead. Two people, Thomas Richard Sutherland and Robin Tyler John are charged with unlawful confinement and aggravated assault, and Cheyann Peeteetuce, Roderick Sutherland, Robert Thomas and Summer-Sky Henry are charged with first-degree murder. Henry hasn’t been located by police and there is a warrant for her arrest.
Thirty year old Megan Gallagher was reported missing in September of 2020. Her remains were found just over two months ago on September 29th.
